Intensive Orton Gillingham Summer Camp for children with reading and writing difficulties

Intensive Summer Literacy Program for children with reading and writing difficulties. Highly trained reading and writing specialists with 15 + years experience. Research based practices to enhance and enrich reading, writing and language skills. All instructional activities are based on student assessed needs and strengths. Provides students with ample opportunities for fun enrichment activities geared towards building reading fluency, reading comprehension, creative writing and executive functioning skills. 1 Learning Specialist: Max 4 Students per Session Students Will Receive Intensive, High Quality Individualized Instruction Using a Systematic, Multi-Sensory Approach Focus Areas: Decoding, Spelling, Writing, Vocabulary, Fluency and executive function skills. Must Sign up for the Entire 2 weeks of instruction (Total of 24 Hours ) What is included with payment for the camp? Placement screening in June 24 hrs of Orton Gillingham sessions (The Orton Gillingham Approach is the most successful approach used with children with reading difficulties) Nessy Reading & Spelling summer subscription ( Your child will be set up to use their Nessy account throughout the remainder of the summer holidays to prevent the summer slide in their reading) Reading Folder and Materials Summer Workbook for your child to continue their learning throughout August.
