Política de privacidad

Effective date: January 1, 2022

This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of TODDLDOTCO, S.L (“we,” “our,” or “us”) on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information on our website https://www.toddl.co/ (the “Site”), and the services, features, content, applications, and products we offer (collectively, the “Platform” or “toddl.co”). We do our best to respect your privacy and maintain your trust. To that end, we wrote this Privacy Policy to help you understand how we collect, use, and disclose information in connection with your use of toddl.co.

HOW YOU ACCEPT THIS POLICY

By using toddl.co, creating a user account or booking or publishing a class (to the extent you’re a business) you agree to the use, disclosure, and procedures outlined in this Privacy Policy.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

The information we collect falls into two categories: “Personally Identifiable Information” and “Non-Personally Identifiable Information.” Personally Identifiable Information broadly includes data that could potentially identify you as an individual. Non-personally Identifiable Information covers information that cannot be used to identify who you are. This Privacy Policy covers both types of data and will tell you how we might collect or use each. We collect a limited amount of Personally Identifiable Information when you create an account with toddl.co, described further below. We also rely on several Third Party Services that also may ask for basic Personally Identifiable Information. We further collect a variety of Non-Personally Identifiable Information, including but not limited to: the date and time you access or use toddl.co; your IP address; the operating system and browser that you use; the website or online service that linked to, or referred you to, toddl.co; and other non-personally identifiable traffic data.

HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION

We collect information about you whenever you use toddl.co.

Providers

If you are a business or other partner who signs up for toddl.co to list children’s classes, camps, or other services (a “Provider”), we ask for your name, address, phone number, email, and other information about your business or service, as well as names and email addresses of individuals authorized to use your account. We also collect Personally Identifiable Information about your Customers (defined below), in order to enable Customers to book classes or other children’s events with you.

Booking a Class Through the Platform

If you’re a parent, guardian, or other individual who wants to book a class on toddl.co (a “Customer”), you’ll be required to create an account where we’ll ask that you provide various information, including some Personally Identifiable Information. For example, we may collect information, including your name, address, phone number, email, child’s name and birthday, and credit card information, as well as any other information you provide to us, in order to process the transaction. We may also collect this information for marketing or other business purposes. This information may be shared with third parties for the same purposes. We may also collect other Personally Identifiable Information at the request of the business you are transacting with.

Information We Automatically Collect

Like most online services, toddl.co automatically collects and stores Non-Personally Identifiable Information that your computer or mobile device provides to us in connection with your use of the Platform, such as: The type of computer or mobile device you use; Your device’s unique identifier; IP Address; MAC address; and Your device’s operating system and physical location (including geolocation, beacon based location, and GPS location).

We may also store usage data such as the date and time you access our servers, and what information and files have been downloaded to the application based on your device number.

Cookies, Web Beacons, and Local Storage

toddl.co may incorporate technology such as cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and local storage to collect and store information.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that may be placed on your computer when you visit a website or online Service. For toddl.co, we use cookies to help identify and track usage of the Platform, and to make it easier to deliver a personalized experience. You can easily refuse our cookies by adjusting the preferences in your browser. However, be forewarned that disabling cookies may cause toddl.co to not operate properly.

Web Beacons

Web beacons are tiny graphic objects embedded in a web page or email, which allow us to check that a user has viewed a page on toddl.co or an email.

We may use web beacons alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about our Platform. Web beacons may be used within the Platform to track email open rates, web page visits, or form submissions. In some cases, we tie the information gathered by web beacons to Personally Identifiable Information. For example, we use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.

Flash and HTML5 Local Storage

We may use local shared objects, such as Flash cookies, or local storage objects, available using HTML5, to store information and preferences on your computer. Third Parties Services (defined below) may also provide certain features on our Platform to display advertising based upon your web browsing activity that also use Flash cookies or HTML5 to collect and store information.

Third-Party Services

We haven’t built all of the features offered on toddl.co from scratch. To run toddl.co, we often utilize various third-party products (collectively “Third Party Services” and individually a “Third Party Service”), such as analytics software and social media services like Facebook connect. If you authorize us to connect with a Third Party Service, you grant us permission to collect certain Personally Identifiable Information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and any other information that the Third Party Service may make available to us. We use and disclose any collected information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please note that your use of a Third Party Service is governed by the service’s respective terms of service and privacy policies. Our Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information, or other practices of any third parties, including our Providers.

Analytics Software

Third-party analytics software and tools help us gather certain information automatically and store it for analytical purposes. These services generally collect Non-personally identifiable information, including how often you visit toddl.co, what areas of toddl.co you visit, and what other sites or services you used prior to using toddl.co.

For example, we use Google Analytics, which relies on cookies and other, similar technology to collect and analyze information about use of the Platform and report on activities and trends. This service may also collect information regarding the use of other websites, apps and online resources. You can learn about Google’s practices by going to www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/, and opt out of them by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Social Media Features

toddl.co also includes social media features such as the Facebook “Like” button, and widgets, such as the “Share This” button. These features collect various information, including your IP address, the areas of toddl.co you visit, and also may set cookies in order to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site.

User Authentication Services

We use sign-in services such as Facebook Connect and OpenID to streamline the registration process. These services authenticate your identity and provide you with the option to share certain Personally Identifiable Information with us such as your name and email address to pre-populate our sign up form. Services like Facebook Connect also give you the option to post information about your activities on our website to your profile page to share with others within your network.

Other Sources

In addition to the above ways we collect information, it is conceivable that we may receive information about you from other sources, such as public databases, strategic and joint marketing partners, social media platforms, people with whom you are friends or otherwise connected on social media platforms, as well as from other third parties. For example, if you elect to connect your social media account to your toddl.co account, certain information from your social media account may be shared with us, including information that’s part of your profile or your friends’ profiles.

Likewise, if you contact us via email or by some other means (either through our App or Site or through a Third Party Service), we may keep a record of your contact information and correspondence for later reference (to help improve toddl.co!).

HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE GATHER

We primarily use the information we collect and store to enhance toddl.co. Except if we sell all or a portion of our business, or as otherwise described below, we currently do not rent, trade, or sell your Personally Identifiable Information.

Our Use of Collected Information

We may use your Personally Identifiable Information:

To respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests; To send administrative information to you (for example, information regarding our services and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies); To complete and fulfill your class registration (for example, to process payments, communicate with you regarding your booking, and provide you with related customer service); To send you marketing communications that we believe may be of interest to you, such as our newsletter; For other business purposes, such as data analysis, audits, fraud monitoring and prevention, developing new products and services, enhancing, improving or modifying our products and services, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns, and operating and expanding our business activities.

We may also use Non-Personally Identifiable information that we collect or that is collected by Third Party Services to track and aggregate information to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movements around the Platform and to gather demographic information about our user base in the aggregate.

Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information to Third Parties

We may disclose your Personally Identifiable Information:

To third-party service providers who provide services such as website hosting, data analysis, payment processing services, order fulfillment, information technology and related infrastructure provision, customer service, email delivery, credit card processing, auditing, and other similar services; To our Providers; To your friends associated with your social media account, to other website users, as well as to your social media account provider, in connection with your social sharing activity, such as if you connect your Facebook account to your toddl.co account; As required by law, including laws outside your country of residence, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process; When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request including a request from authorities outside your country of residence; To protect our operations;

To protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of you or others; and

To allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.

Sale, Acquisition, or Change of Control

It’s conceivable that we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that would be transferred. Also, if we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, your Personally Identifiable Information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party. By accepting this Privacy Policy, as outlined above, you consent to any such transfer.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION CAN YOU ACCESS OR CHANGE?

If you would like to review, correct, update, or delete any Personally Identifiable Information, you can email our customer support at info@toddl.co.

In your request, please make clear what Personally Identifiable Information you would like to have changed or removed from our database. For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the Personally Identifiable Information associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before changing or removing any information. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.

If you no longer want to receive marketing-related emails from us on a going-forward basis, you may opt-out of receiving these marketing-related emails by sending a request for list removal to info@toddl.co. If you provide your information to toddl.co, you can opt-out at any time. This will allow you to save your information with toddl.co, but we will not use your information for marketing purposes.

ONLINE TRACKING AND HOW WE RESPOND TO DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS

Online tracking is the collection of data about an individual’s Internet activity used to deliver targeted advertisements and for other purposes.

Do Not Track Signal

Some web browsers (including Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome) incorporate a “Do Not Track” (DNT) or similar feature, which provides websites with a signal that a visitor does not want to have his/her online activity and behavior tracked. If an online service elects to respond to a particular DNT signal, the service may refrain from collecting certain personal information about the browser’s user. Not all browsers offer a DNT option and there is currently no industry consensus as to what constitutes a DNT signal. For these reasons, many website operators, including toddl.co, do not take action to respond to DNT signals. For more information about DNT signals, visit http://allaboutdnt.com.

Advertising Networks

We may partner with third party ad network(s) and other service providers to show you relevant ads, including ads displayed on the Service and on other companies’ websites or apps, on any of your devices. These ad networks may use cookies and web beacons to collect

Non-personally Identifiable Information about your activities on the Platform and other web sites and mobile apps to provide you targeted advertising based upon your interests. They may also use these technologies, along with activity information they collect, to recognize you across the devices you use, such as a mobile device and a laptop or other computer.

If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you targeted ads, you may opt-out. If you would like more information about this practice and to opt out of it on the particular device from which you are accessing this policy, go to http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp, http://www.aboutads.info/choices and http://preferences-mgr.truste.com / to opt out in desktop and mobile web browsers. You may download the AppChoices app at www.aboutads.info/appchoices to opt out in mobile apps. Please note that opting out does not opt you out of being served advertising. You will continue to receive generic ads.

BILLING AND PAYMENT

Payment

By booking a class or Activity on toddl.co you are responsible for paying any and all applicable fees for the Activities, as indicated on toddl.co at the time of registration.

Refunds

Generally, our fees are nonrefundable. We may, at our discretion, provide a refund to customers under certain circumstances. Please email info@toddl.co for consideration. If refunded, we reserve the right to charge you a fee to cover the cost of any Activity you may have attended prior to cancellation. Any additional discounts or refunds that we may choose to provide are in our sole discretion and do not entitle you to any future discounts or refunds for similar instances in the future.

Price changes

We reserve the right to adjust our prices at any time. If we ever need to change our prices, we will let you know either through toddl.co or by email.

Payment methods

If you are a Provider customer with a subscription, you may change your payment information or cancel at any time by logging into toddl.co and going to the "My profile" page. If for some reason a bill is not successfully settled and you do not edit your payment method or cancel your account, you nonetheless remain responsible for any uncollected amounts, authorising us to continue billing your payment method, as it may be updated, including if you attempt to create a new account. This may result in a change to your payment billing dates. If we cannot charge your account, we reserve the right, but are not obligated, to terminate your access to toddl.co or any portion thereof.

Cancellation of classes

Although we recommend never registering for an Activity unless you are sure you can attend, we know that sometimes things come up. Each Activity is subject to the cancellation policy of the respective Provider. If you do not cancel an Activity as required by its respective cancellation policy, and you or your child does not attend the class, we reserve the right to charge you the full amount that the Provider charges for such class and/or the applicable cancellation fees. We also reserve the right to terminate your account.

DATA RETENTION

Even if you disable your account, or change your Personally Identifiable information, we may need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting such change or deletion (e.g., when you make a purchase, you may not be able to change or delete the Personally Identifiable Information provided until after the completion of such purchase). There may also be residual information that will remain within our databases and other records, which will not be removed so that toddl.co will continue to function properly or because it would be burdensome to delete.

If you are a Customer of one of our Providers and would no longer like to be contacted by a Provider, or would like to access, correct, amend, or delete inaccurate Personally Identifiable Information held by a Provider, please contact the Provider that you interact with directly.

Data Security

The security of Personally Identifiable Information is a high priority for us. We maintain our Platform and all associated data with technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect against loss, unauthorized access, destruction, misuse, modification, and improper disclosure. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you have any questions about the security of your interaction with us (if, for example, you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), you can contact us at info@toddl.co.

CHILDREN

We are especially sensitive about children and parent/guardian information. We’re a site directed towards parents and guardians, and are not directed towards children. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. We request that children not provide Personally Identifiable Information through the Platform. If you learn that your child is using toddl.co, please contact us at info@toddl.co and we will take steps to address it.

As a parent or guardian of a minor child, we will treat any information that you provide us while using toddl.co on behalf of your minor child as Personally Identifiable Information as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO UPDATE AND REVISE THIS POLICY AT ANY TIME

We occasionally review this Privacy Policy to make sure it complies with applicable law and conforms to changes in our business. We may need to update this Privacy Policy, and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If we revise this Privacy Policy, we will do our best to notify you, as required by law, and will update the "Effective Date" at the bottom of this page so that you can tell if it has changed since your last visit. Please review this Privacy Policy regularly to ensure that you are aware of its terms. Any change to this Privacy Policy will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on the Site. Any use of toddl.co after an amendment to our Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance to the revised or amended agreement.
